The latest event in the Open907 programme, also part of RisòFF, the programme of Risò 2026, the International Rice Festival, transformed Buzzi Unicem’s historic plant in Trino into an evocative meeting place for history, culture, theatre and community life

On Saturday, 12 September, AREA907 reopens to the public with a new Open907 event, part of the programme of initiatives through which Buzzi’s company museum explores industrial history, culture and the local area.
Guided tours: 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm – Theatre performance: 9:30 pm

AREA907 is taking part in the 18th edition of National Mining Day, scheduled for May 30–31, 2026, with a special public opening on the morning of Saturday, May 30

Twenty four international students and four lecturers from the USI Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio visited AREA907 during their study trip in the Monferrato.
The visit allowed the group to explore in depth the region’s industrial history, production processes, and longstanding connection with cement.
It offered an opportunity to understand how this heritage continues to shape the identity of the local area
